Amzazi and Ouaisha chair the inauguration ceremony of the Higher School of Technology in Dakhla
I chaired it, together with the Minister Delegate in charge of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Idriss Ouaouicha, and the Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Mr. Salem bin Mohamed al-Malik, the Wali of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, Mr. Lamine Benomar, and the head of the region, Mr. Khattat Yenga, and the President Ibn Zohr University, Mr. Aziz Bendo, today, Saturday, July 24, 2021, the inauguration ceremony of the Higher School of Technology of Dakhla - affiliated with Ibn Zohr University. In the presence of the President of the Regional Council of Awsard and representatives of the rest of the regional councils.
The institution has a capacity of 1,000 pedagogical seats and has cost a financial envelope of nearly 40 million dirhams, to which the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region contributed 12 million dirhams.
This project, with a financial cost of 40 million dirhams, comes within the framework of diversifying the university's offer to the university. As it will enable the expansion of pedagogical horizons for students of the region by opening up to new specializations. The school will know the programming of 3 tracks, starting from the next academic year 2021-2022, which are:
- informatics;
management techniques;
- electrical engineering.
This inauguration falls in addition to the events that the party knows about within the projects of downloading Law Framework 51.17, especially in its part related to expanding the university offer and facilitating access. The role of the university has also been established in downloading the advanced regionalization that the Kingdom of Morocco aspires to, by ensuring spatial justice between the various regions of the region.
