The experiment is the first of its kind at the level of Moroccan universities, the one launched by Ibn Zahr University in Agadir, and that relates to the project of electronic signature of documents for students who are pursuing their studies with a number of its affiliated colleges, to facilitate the process of reaching them with all their administrative needs as quickly as possible, without incurring the trouble of moving to the institution Undergraduate, especially during the quarantine period
Regarding this unique experience, Kamal Al-Sibiri, Deputy Dean in charge of Pedagogical Affairs at the College of Languages, Arts and Human Sciences in Ait Melloul, said that the adoption of electronic signature technology began from the beginning of the current academic season, with the intention of the university president, Omar Hali, indicating that the experiment began at the College Languages, arts and human sciences, and at that time, electronic signatures were very few. However, by last February, the number of documents that were signed electronically in the aforementioned college reached 1,000 documents, such as evidence of success and point detection in addition to school evidence.
“This experience will enable the university institution’s administration to remotely digitally sign various documents for the student, as it will allow the student to request registration documents and point statements, for example, from his own account on the institution’s digital platform in a time not exceeding a few hours,” Kamal Sperry emphasized. .
The same spokesman pointed out that “the advantage of this signature is to shorten the period of obtaining the required document and the possibility of obtaining it in the place and city in which the concerned student is located, who can withdraw his documents from his personal account, and those documents obtained through the electronic signature are protected and intact from any manipulation. Or piracy of data according to precise standards, as it is approved by various public and private administrations.
"Omar Hali" added that Ibn Zuhr University has adopted digitization in recent months, especially the electronic signature of documents, stressing that this experiment is the first of its kind at the level of Moroccan universities.
Regarding distance teaching, Hali said that it should be thought of as an essential component, on the basis that distance lessons are complementary to preschool lessons, and it also enhances the student’s ability to return to them whenever and however he wants.
